The Fastest Connection to Paris
The Olympics are the biggest sponsorship in the Xfinity portfolio. That meant a herculean task with over 3,000 pieces of creative from TV to social to out of home to retail. As lead creative directors, we oversaw all campaign development before dividing production and post-production among our team. It was a sixteen month process that couldn’t have been done alone. But it also represented our in-house agencies most ambitious, and most successful, undertaking to date.

Congratulations Team USA
We created real-time congratulations TV spots for each of our athletes to be aired if they medalled in their events. By working with NBC, we were able to drop real-time footage into each one and have them ready within hours of the victory. That meant when America watched the event on tape delay that night, we were able to run the ad in the first commercial break after the victory. Audiences couldn’t believe the quick turnaround, and loved the heartfelt message.
Meet Your Heroes
Our campaign was all about the fastest connection to Paris. And there’s no better connection than having our Olympians actually meet the athletes they look up to. We arranged five meetings between kids and Olympic athletes, with the most impactful one being soccer star Sophia Smith meeting a high school soccer team just outside of Portland.
